Shipping & Pick up
We ship using common carrier service to selected states in the United States where interstate wine sales are available. Please email us at info@sagesociety.com to inquire about your state. We offer courier service to local customers within limited distances. Please email us at info@sagesociety.com for a quote.
During extreme weather days, we will email you with the option to place your order on "Weather Hold" in our 55 degree cellar storage, or to ship now by signing and returning a "Weather Hold" waiver. For additional questions or comments, please email us at associate@sagesociety.com.
If you choose the “pick up” option when checking out, we will email you a confirmation as soon as the wine is pulled and ready for pick up. Please allow 1 to 4 business days to receive an email for in stock items.
Allow us 1 to 4 business days to pull the order and you will be notified via email with tracking info once an order ships. For out of state orders, we recommend to ship out on a Monday to have orders delivered in the same week.
All deliveries require a signature from an adult, aged 21 years or older.
The common carrier makes up to three delivery attempts, excluding weekends and holidays. After the third delivery attempt has been made the carrier will return the package to our warehouse. If the package is returned to our warehouse, you will need to pay for any shipping fees associated with resending the package back out to you.
If you need to change the address before shipment is made, please email us at info@sagesociety.com as soon as possible and we will make sure it is sent to the correct address. For many common carriers, you are also able to reroute or reschedule a shipment by signing into your account and requesting it. Please check the tracking number provided for your shipment to see if these options are available.
Sage Society takes extra steps to protect our shipments. All wine orders are shipped in styrofoam shippers which are stored at 55 degree temperature. This means both wines and the boxes are at cool temperature when it departs our warehouse. Wines are also individually packaged in plastic bags not to damage the labels in case of breakage.
While ice pack shipping is available during warm weather months, we recommend to ship the wines during cool weather as extreme heat can damage the wines.
